Swiss-Belinn Indramayu

The room was fairly good, with a comfortable bed, plenty of space, and an efficient layout. The bathroom, though, smelled because of sewer reflux. I mentioned the problem on my previous visit, but it doesn’t seem like anything has been done about it.

The Deluxe room is compact but laid out well, and was comfortable for a short stay. I enjoyed the dining room, especially the pindang patin, and the reception team made us feel very welcome. This is one of the more suitable hotels in Indramayu. In room 202, I noticed a little water pooled under the TV in the morning. I’m unsure whether rain had seeped in or there was a small ceiling leak, and I realized too late to report it. It was a pleasant stay, and I’d come back if I visit Indramayu again.

The Wi-Fi was super fast, with a dedicated access point in the room and two providers for the uplink. The room itself was clean, quiet, and comfortable, and the AC worked well. One issue: the bathroom door is heavy because it has a full-length mirror, and it slams into the frame. With no stopper on the railing, I think it’ll eventually break.

This is a new hotel and probably the best in the city. The location is good, with a smaller market close by and the new mall not far away. Breakfast was okay, though there wasn't much Western food. The room wasn't really suitable for small children since they can open the bathroom door and get inside. You also can't lock the toilet and bathroom separately, which is a downside. The sink faucet is placed poorly and sits too close, so your hands can easily hit the sink. Still, we had a good stay.
