The room AC wasn't very effective, and the reception area was stifling when I arrived at 1:30, even though check-in wasn't until 2. I just wanted somewhere to relax, but the AC there was switched off and there wasn't a fan. Even a fan would have helped if they weren't going to run the AC. I asked about checking in 30 minutes early, but couldn't. The service at Airy Mangga Besar 4E was disappointing from the start. I've stayed at lots of Airy places and had much better service elsewhere, including at the previous Airy. This is one of the less satisfying ones for me. It might still work as a budget stay. Thanks, Airy, and Thank you Penthouse Hotel.

The price is low, and it's comfortable and clean enough.

It's just okay. For a low budget hostel, what more would you expect?

If you've got a bit more to spend, I'd pick a different hotel.
