The friendly receptionist and excellent service stood out, and the hotel is conveniently close to Tanah Abang Market and Thamrin City. This is the Airy at Karsa Utama Hotel, so sorry if this sounds like my Karsa Utama Hotel review too, haha. Breakfast comes with check-in, and you can eat as much as you like. I think it's served from 6-10 AM, but I can't quite remember. There are rooms from the basement up to the 5th floor. From there you can catch a lovely sunrise and sunset 😆💕. There are also lots of street vendors with authentic Jakarta snacks and main dishes worth trying. Choose your accommodation carefully, okay? I only have one photo left, from my stay in a room on the 5th floor, haha 😂😂😂😅😅

The staff service was satisfying, and Karsa Utama Hotel is fairly affordable and close to Tanah Abang. I've stayed there twice, first through the HotelLGS app and then through Airy, and only realized afterward they were the same hotel. My problem was the air conditioning on the Airy booking. It was already acting up when I arrived, so I asked someone to check it. The technician got it running, but it stopped cooling soon after and the closed room got really hot. I called reception to explain the technician had left, and another person came to look at it. It cooled for a little while, then stopped again. I spent the night sweaty and stuffy, and nobody offered to move me to another room. This never happened when I booked through the hotel app. Why did it happen after I used the Airy Room app?

The place is near Tanah Abang, though getting to GI takes a bit longer. For the room size, the price feels high compared with other options. It's clean, but the building's a bit old and needs repairs. The AC drips onto the bed, the TV is still a tube set, and there's no sink.

Rooms are small, with only enough space for one bed, but the rates are cheap. You get a private toilet and friendly, good service, and it's close to the shopping center. Food spots and a mosque are far away.
