Amaris Hotel Fachrudin - Tanah Abang

I found the breakfast acceptable and the hotel clean. But the bathroom drainage caused a serious problem, with water flooding the room. I was also disappointed to order a cappuccino and get instant coffee instead, charged at IDR 30,000, which didn't seem reasonable. The water dispenser in the dining area wasn't clean either. These things need attention and improvement for guests to have a better stay.

The service was great, and I felt quite safe as a solo traveler. It's easy to get around from this location. There was a small desk, good wifi, toiletries, and a sandal. I saw a foreigner and a local family staying too, and I guess it was convenient enough for them. For me, though, the room felt quite small, especially when I tried to pray. The space between the toilet and front door was tight and hard to move around in. The toilet also felt dark rather than intimate, with just one small light between the wastafel, toilet, and shower. Maybe that could be improved. A dispenser in the floor hall was a nice extra.

I had a very pleasant three-day stay. The staff were professional and friendly, and mba Annisaa at reception was especially helpful, going above and beyond during my visit 😃. Her warm manner and professionalism really made a difference. The service was excellent, and I'd highly recommend the hotel.

The price was my favorite part, less than IDR 500.000, -, and there's free black coffee and tea. Each floor also has a free water dispenser outside the rooms. The location is strategic, near Tanah Abang market and Grand Indonesia malls. My room wasn't large, but it was compact and worked for a small family. It was clean and had a window, and the bathroom was comfortable and clean too. Check-in was quick, and the staff were very friendly.
