The staff were really nice and seemed keen to make the stay a good one. Breakfast was pretty good too, probably the best part for the low price. It's a cheap, no-frills hotel, and the place is somewhat run down. The mall underneath Amaris Hotel also looks like it needs renovation, though it has the basics and is relatively inexpensive. There's not much in the rooms besides a bed and a shower and toilet. They have no windows, so there's no morning sunlight and waking up can be hard. You can also hear loud bass from the bar downstairs until 1am.

The price is good, and being right inside Season City mall is a great location. Rooms include Wi-Fi and breakfast, both basic but enough for what you need. There's nothing fancy about the place. Smoking and non-smoking rooms are available, but smoke gets into the non-smoking rooms at night, which may bother non-smokers. Still good value.

It's a low-budget hotel, and I found some cockroaches in the rooms. The hygiene was worse than at other Amaris chains.

We stayed because we needed to catch the airport train the next morning. The station for the direct airport train is a 20-minute walk away, and the hotel is inside the mall, though easy to find. The mall itself is pretty poor, with few food choices. Fried chicken or beef bowls seemed like the best bets. For the price, the location and room are pretty good. The bed was comfortable, the shower was okay but had weak pressure, and the Wi-Fi was decent. The pillows looked quite old. Breakfast was poor and cost the hotel a star for me, since there wasn't really proper food if you don't eat fish.
