An Hotel Satrio Kuningan

I checked out in under 24 hours because of the hygiene, even though I’d booked and prepaid for two weeks. The double standard room on the 6th floor had cockroaches and dirt, plus stained pillowcases, sheets, and duvet. It looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in a while, with dust webs in the corners. The room was stuffy and smelled bad, and the AC needed servicing and couldn’t cool it. The toilet floor was stained too. The restaurant they said was in the hotel wasn’t operating. I’ve added pictures, with cockroaches circled in red and dirt, dust, or stains in green. An Hotel Jakarta, I truly hope you use this review to improve the rooms you provide to customers. I was disappointed with the hotel overall.

The staff were friendly and helpful, and there’s plenty of parking for cars and motorcycles with security on standby. The location is great, in Jakarta’s main area, across from Lotte Shopping Avenue/Ciputra World, with lots of street food options for dinner. The room was narrow and the facilities seemed complete, but they weren’t well maintained. I chose not to use the blanket and avoided part of the bed.

It’s cheap and the location is great, but do yourself a favor and stay anywhere else. The hotel is filthy and so badly maintained it should be condemned. Things are broken, there’s no internet or hot water, the linen is dirty, and the towels are threadbare. Don’t trust the photos or reviews. The pictures are totally misleading, and this place is an absolute dump. Shame on the hotel for misleading guests, and on Agoda for listing it.

It’s inexpensive and well located, close to offices and the business area. Don’t expect much for a staycation, but it can work as a short stay on a solo business trip.
