I had a really pleasant stay right in the heart of the city. The room was cool and comfortable, the space was clean, and the staff were friendly and quick to respond. There’s a cozy coffee shop in the lobby with affordable coffee that’s good quality, and you can text them through WhatsApp if you need anything. What stood out most was how honest the staff are. I left my brand new phone in the room after checking out and expected the worst, but they had already looked after it and made sure it was safe at reception. I really appreciate Mba Erni and the other staff for that. I’d definitely come back for the cleanliness, friendly service, comfort, and the sense of safety they gave guests.

I wouldn’t recommend this for a long stay. There isn’t a full wall between my room and the one next door, so I could hear every noise from there. The video attached shows light coming through from the other room, and noise from outside came in too. My large windows faced the street, which was noisy even on the third floor. I could hear every vehicle and the Tahu Bulat crossing. The window handles were broken and would sometimes come open. I asked for them to be fixed from my first day, but they were never repaired during my six-month stay. The bathroom floor had watermarks that I complained about on day one, but they said nothing could be done. The sink and shower head were dirty too; they only cleaned them a little after I complained. Cleaning service wasn't great. In the first week of Jan, I returned to Andara and found a big hole in the bathroom ceiling, plafond debris all over the floor, a wet carpet, and a dirty, dusty room with watermarks on the floor. Apparently a pipe had leaked and there'd been a big flood on New Year's Day, so they needed to come into my room to fix things. No one told me they had to enter, and they left the place dirty until I had to ask them to clean it 😭 They also skipped cleaning my room for a week while I was out of town. The room doesn't have enough storage for a long-term stay, and at Rp 5++ million / month it wasn't worth it at all. Laundry was limited to 2pcs/ day. It took so long for them to finish and take away my laundry basket that I couldn't hand in more clothes the next day and had to let laundry pile up. At two other places I got 4pcs/ day back the same day. The location is near an MRT station via a small alley that cars can't access. You can walk through it, but at night it’s dark and kind of scary, though OK. Not worth the money for a long stay. A single night might be fine if you get a corner room.

My favorite comfy place to stay around jaksel. Really clean, homey, and so comfortable, and the rooftop is the best. They have everything you need during your stay. I'd definitely come back!
