Apartemen Taman Rasuna 2BR. 80sqm

The city view is good, and it’s a nice apartment overall with a pleasant pool. The building does feel a bit old, though. There’s an Indian person on my floor, and when she cooks, the whole hallway smells like curry.

I’ve been here a long time, and the pocket park looks especially festive with its Christmas decorations. The area is leafy and riverside, with fresh air and peaceful paths for a morning or evening walk or jog. Public transport is easy to reach, including the busway and LRT, and the location is strategic. There are cute stray cats around that I sometimes feed. The security staff are friendly, greeting me whenever I pass and even helping me cross the street. This is Apartemen Taman Rasuna.

There’s lots of room to get together, with a spacious gazebo, and you can exercise, run in the afternoon, swim, or play basketball. The afternoon view is lovely too. It’s a comfortable, well-equipped apartment in a strategic spot, near places to pray and a food street. Recommended.

Epicentrum is close enough to walk to for groceries, and the location is very strategic. The elevators, though, have definitely seen better days. They were changed from the rare European ThyssenKrupp models to very ordinary, subpar Shanghai STEP ones. The old custom hall lanterns are still there but can’t be used, and the buttons feel cheap. The elevators also take longer to level than before. Tower 17’s freight elevator stopped accepting calls, and nearly got stuck on 33 before reopening and heading back down. The indicator and call buttons, especially for the service elevator, look like they were mounted over the old ones, leaving visible unused space and making the finish look kind of cheap.
