Aston Pluit Hotel & Residence

The price was quite a bargain, especially for the long year-end and school holidays. We had an enjoyable stay overall. The entrance staff, including security, the bellboy, and reception, were hospitable, and one of them even gave my sons fish food for the hotel fish. The hotel has a pool and a fitness center, though I never got to see the fitness center. The bedroom had enough space, with a smart TV, Google Nest, couch, and refrigerator. The TV was slow to respond, so I had to press the remote repeatedly, and it couldn’t detect a hard disk. The major issue was housekeeping: nobody came on our second day to clean the room or replenish the mineral water and bathroom amenities. We returned around 4 PM and everything was still as we’d left it. The hotel looked old, but otherwise the stay was enjoyable.

May, our server, was so kind and attentive, always checking we had what we needed. The restaurant felt cozy, with large windows and a pleasant city view that made breakfast feel special. At the buffet, there was a good mix of Indonesian and international food, including fresh fruit, pastries, Indonesian dishes, and eggs cooked how you like them. Everything looked fresh and tasted great. Breakfast at Aston Pluit Hotel really hit the spot!

I’m on my third stay at Aston Pluit Hotel in Jakarta this year, again for two months, after two previous two-month business visits. The consistent experience is why I keep choosing it for work, and it feels like a home away from home. The friendly, courteous staff, from the front desk to the main entrance team, create a warm atmosphere that’s especially welcome after a long workday. The daily buffet breakfast has a wide selection of good-quality Indonesian and international dishes, including cereal, pastries, fresh fruit, salads, chicken, fish, and drinks. Asrofi supervises breakfast service, keeping things running smoothly and the dining area clean and organized. Ms Early greets guests with a smile and warm help, while David is friendly and skilled at preparing fried and grilled items. Housekeeping is attentive too. Chandra, Hendro, Yasin, and Anda clean my room thoroughly every day and restock the amenities. If anything is missing, a call to reception gets it delivered right away. Laundry is also excellent: my clothes come back neatly folded or hung, under dust covers, and the delivery staff add a personal touch with friendly smiles and considerate gestures. Reliable service and welcoming staff make these long business stays comfortable and stress-free.
