Classic Hotel

The staff were extremely rude. The mama-san especially refused to help even after I asked several times. I suspect it may have been because I'm a foreigner. I've found better service and prices elsewhere.

The rooms are clean, and the ladies' hospitality has never let me down. The 2-for-1 deal is what makes this place stand out, and it's the best value for money in jarkata. If smoke bothers you, go around 2pm, since it gets smoky in the evening.

The staff were very friendly and helpful, and I got great value overall. I booked a standard room with a King bed. The bed was comfortable, but the pillows were rock-hard, so I didn't use them. Water also drained very slowly in the shower. There are clubs a few floors above the rooms, though I couldn't hear any music. One other thing, avoid the money changer next to the hotel if you need to exchange cash, they charge a fortune.

The hotel's central spot made it easy to get to local attractions, and the staff were warm and attentive. I found the rooms comfortable and well equipped, and the on-site food offered plenty of variety. The architecture and tasteful decor give Classic Hotel a traditional, elegant feel. Some parts could use a more modern touch, but it was a memorable stay with a lot of charm.
