Cove River Haus

It had only just opened.

The room and kitchen were clean, and the receptionist who welcomed me was helpful, so I would've rated this five stars if not for what happened with the faucet. It had no handle, and since the receptionist was out buying food, I reported it through the QR system. Someone then knocked in a hurry. A short, stocky person told me I shouldn't report things through Cove and should come downstairs instead. I explained I'd already been downstairs, but he got defensive and said the other person was eating. I was left wondering when I was supposed to go down again. He eventually came in and showed me a knob under the sink that operated the faucet, then left without apologizing or showing any hospitality about the faucet not meeting standard. It really soured my mood, especially since I needed to work remotely that night. I hope the owner and management reprimand and discipline him for everyone's comfort, and to keep the hotel's rating from falling.

I arrived at about 1 a.m. after work on Wednesday, September 3rd, only to find out the place was overbooked. I'd booked and paid through tiket.com, and there'd been no message warning me that the room wasn't available. The receptionist said the app would refund me, but I still haven't received anything. It may not be a large sum, but that doesn't mean it should be ignored. The location was quite far for me, it was already late, and nobody offered a solution, so I couldn't rest. Very disappointing. I hope they improve the system.

The surroundings were clean, and the service was friendly. I stayed three days at Cove River in room 201, which was nice and clean.
