There's a laundry right across from the lobby, two Indomarets nearby, plus a wet market and plenty of local food stalls in the basement. Massage is affordable, and there's a huge paid playground for kids. Lots of cafes and restaurants too.

The lobby is cozy, the elevators are good, and there are plenty of nearby events. The coastal view is nice, though it gets hot. But the fire alarm rings a lot, perhaps because it's faulty or too sensitive. There's also water leaking from the lobby ceiling, corridor vents vibrate loudly in strong winds, the loose service door keeps banging, and there's a tomcat infestation. Great for a short stay, but I wouldn't stay long term.

Tokyo Riverside at Pik2 has shops, street food stalls, a pasar, a pool, basketball court, gym, laundry service, all kinds of restaurants, a spa, several kids' play areas, a 24-hour bar, and good security. It feels close enough to Jakarta while letting you get away from the city's crowds and hassle. Much better than any hotel.
