Cozy Stay Studio At West Vista Apartment

There's a lot of noise here, both from the heavy traffic and the mosques nearby, so it's not a calm place to live. Inside, the thin ceiling seems to amplify every sound from upstairs, including footsteps and things being dropped. I raised this with management and showed them evidence, but they kept denying it and asked permission to cut a hole in my ceiling for rat traps. If they're right about that, it would mean the apartment has rats.

There are cockroaches in almost every apartment in this building, and the lifts have also been having problems for a month. Expect to wait about five minutes whenever you call one. One day they cut electricity to the whole building during the extreme heat. My food spoiled in the fridge, and with the lifts out too, I couldn't leave the apartment. They had announced it, but only in Indonesian, which was no help if you don't speak the language. If there were a fire and you couldn't understand the announcement, you'd be in serious trouble. It was one of the most frustrating and inhumane experiences I've had in an apartment complex.

I booked for today on the Angoda app and have been stuck waiting in the lobby for two hours. I can't reach the person who's meant to hand over the key, and they're not online. We paid for the booking and have other commitments, so this is a basic service they should provide. I've never had this happen before. The apartment is very poor, and I'm not satisfied with them at all. The whole thing feels like nonsense.

I barely needed to go out during my two months at The Crest West Vista in Jakarta. I visited a nearby shopping center just three times, since the complex had what I needed, including two tennis courts. There's also a massage place and convenience store next door, and Grab food deliveries arrived within minutes. The place felt secure and luxurious, and I liked the unit and amenities a lot, especially the pool and gym on the eighth floor. Staff were genuinely friendly, and a team kept the complex clean and maintained, including a gardener looking after the zen garden around the pool. I loved staying here and have already booked another two months for next year.
