Genteng Ijo Residence

The guard's attitude was awful. I came by at 11 p.m. to drop off someone who lived at the boarding house. The resident told me to honk so the gate could be opened, then turn around, since the alley is so narrow that only one car fits. I honked once, then a bit louder, then again. Nobody came. The resident told me again to honk, and on the fourth try the guard finally ran over. When the gate opened, I said I was dropping the resident off. The guard yelled at me that I was making noise, even though I'd only honked once. The resident knows how the guard is, and said he can take a LONG time to open the gate. The security post is at the front, not inside. If you're a guard, standing near the entrance and exit is part of the job. As I was leaving, I rolled down my window to say thanks, just basic politeness, but he kept grumbling angrily about the noise. If he doesn't want people honking, he should be at the security post instead of far from the entrance. So strange. No wonder the reviews are bad. Everyone's attitude is bad 👎🏼

The building is new but damp, and I've seen insects there sometimes, like cockroaches, centipedes, and mosquitoes. Still, it's a favorite spot of mine for making content or just passing through. The price is pretty cheap, and I like the windows and balcony view of the skyscraper 👍🏻 I've had a deluxe room with a smart TV. The executive rooms are spacious, while the standard type is really cheap. I'd go for deluxe or executive. They're still okay.

A good pick if you're after a cheap hotel. The location is strategic, the room is clean and smells fresh, and the AC gets cold. It's comfortable, and the staff are friendly, right down to the security. Recommended, you won't be disappointed 👍

The owner is incredibly arrogant, and I'd choose somewhere a little more expensive if it meant getting a warm welcome. A friendlier owner could make the place feel livelier, hehe. I'm worried people won't be comfortable staying here for long. 🙂 It's a shame because the building itself is pretty good and new, but the maintenance is so poor that guests staying at the time get charged for any damage. I was honestly shocked when they asked me to pay such a large amount for damages. It was completely uncalled for.
