I booked through an app and discovered this is a dormitory, NOT a hotel. The location is handy, near everywhere within east and central Jakarta, and the bedroom isn't big. Internet was ok, but the water smelled somewhat. Room service treats all tenants the same: they won't clean your room daily, even if you're staying as a guest, unless you ask. I only got it cleaned twice during my 4 nights.

I arrived at 12PM on 23/06 and went to the front office to check my reservation. I asked whether there was a clean vacant room so I could check in early. The staff just told me check in is at 2PM. I know the rule, but hotels I've visited have been flexible when a clean room is available, and let guests in before 2PM without any charge 😆 The staff handled check in with a lazy face and didn't even greet me when I entered the front desk area. I'd give staff service 1/10. She needs more training. Please give the front office team advice to provide better service and show guests good hospitality 👍😅 She also didn't tell me how to turn on the electricity in my room, so I spent maybe 15 minutes figuring it out 😆🤔

Good room and good hospitality.
