Erian Hotel

Our short stay was wonderful, thanks to the friendly staff, especially Raiyan, Shelley, and Khaira. I didn’t catch the name of the (male) staff member who checked us in, but he was extremely helpful. I’ve never felt more comfortable!

We had a great room in the Premier category. The projector gave us a bit of trouble, but the engineer fixed it quickly, and once it was running, it was magnificent. The room comes with free coffee pods and refillable water. Everything was super clean and comfortable, and the internet was fast enough for me to work over Zoom without any issues. Service was really quick too. I could call reception for practically anything, and someone would come by very quickly. For the price, it felt outstanding. Breakfast had the whole spread, from protein to carbs and fiber. One server, Farid, asked me to leave a Google review. That felt a little forced, though I know he meant well. The location is great, with a vegetarian restaurant next door. A really nice poke bowl place is a three-minute walk away. Can’t complain.

I booked two nights here after noticing it was the only four-star-rated hotel on Wahid Hasyim at 4.7, while the others were around 4.5. At first I figured the rating might be padded with fake reviews, but after staying here I’d give it five stars. The room was clean, and there was hot water and room service around the clock. Anything I asked for arrived in five minutes or less. Bravo Erian Hotel. I’ll stay here again when I come back to Jakarta and recommend it to my relatives. Thank you, and keep up the good work.

The service was the worst I’ve had, from the security guard to his so-called “boss.” There are 20 hotels on the same block, so book somewhere else. Their reply below shows their bad character. They threatened me by saying they knew my phone number. If you have CCTV, you can see your security guard manhandle me and roughly hold my car door while yelling at me. I’d gone next door to your hotel because I saw burgreens and wanted refreshments after that unpleasant experience. At burgreen, I noticed a b clinic poster and decided to check it out. I don’t owe you an explanation, but you’re in the wrong business if you don’t want to be hospitable to walk-in guests. Since you said you have my number and still have a problem with me, contact me. We’ll settle it like true men.
