I booked all three nights because I needed somewhere affordable in a hurry and had heard decent things about it. I had the small standard room. It was clean, but I could see dust mites, so it seemed it hadn't been cleaned on my check-in day. The shower was okay, though the water pressure was very weak. The kettle and bedside lamp didn't work either. Worst was the AC: it made a horrible noise all night, and my eyes itched whenever it was on, so I don't think it was clean. I reported it and was told they'd “check.” When I got back, it was running but still noisy. Maybe they thought I meant it wasn't switched on? I stayed out the three nights I'd booked, but wouldn't return. Bearable at best.

This place is dangerous. The shower head burst while I was using it, as shown in the photo, and hot water scalded me, causing a physical injury. The room also had a terrible moldy smell, and the staff couldn't communicate well enough to get me help in an emergency. Do not stay here.

One odd design choice: the closet/bathroom door is completely transparent. That's fine if you're alone or with your partner, but could be a headache if you share the room with a friend or cousin, LOL. The room itself was okay at this business lodge in the middle of busy Jakartan streets. For everything else, pay a little attention. My AC wasn't cool enough during the day, which was a bummer.

Update: We got an upgrade, and the service was excellent. The water still smells, though, and they should fix the water system. Apparently there's no need to pay an extra 25 k for Netflix if you get the deluxe room, so that's the room to choose for the free one. Before the upgrade, the water reeked, the room smelled of sweat, and the AC was freakin hot. I prefer the cipete branch, where you don't have to pay for Netflix.

The rooftop was my favorite part, and I enjoyed my stay. The hotel feels homey and clean, and the staff are really friendly and helpful. Since it's not right beside the main road, finding food or booking an online taxi can be a little difficult. Maybe not many drivers know the place yet because it's new.
