The suite was spacious and comfortable, with huge ergonomic beds, and the staff made our one-night stay feel much longer. We booked just before our flight home, so I hadn’t expected to experience much of the property, but everyone went out of their way for us. The concierge team carefully handled the antiques we’d bought at a market and wrapped them as requested, checking that we were happy with the materials and how the items were treated. A special thanks to front desk manager Robbi, who made sure we were comfortable and extended checkout to the latest time we’ve ever been able to enjoy. That made the trip home less stressful. I’ve stayed at some of the world’s most beautiful and well known properties, and the service at Four Seasons Jakarta is truly incomparable. Do get breakfast if you can. The pastry room alone is worth the stay. Thanks to the Four Seasons Hotel Jakarta team. I’m already looking forward to coming back.

Breakfast was fantastic, with plenty of high-quality choices, and the staff’s warmth, professionalism, and attention to detail made our stay memorable. Everyone was exceptionally friendly and went out of their way to keep us comfortable. We booked Four Seasons Jakarta through our American Express Platinum card and got a lovely upgrade right away. The hotel has a beautiful classic feel and is impeccably maintained. If I’m back in Jakarta, I’d happily stay here again.

We felt welcome as a family the whole time, with every staff member, including the doormen and women, being exceptionally friendly. The outdoor pool looked stunning in the evening, and the views made it feel like a peaceful island in the middle of the city. Our room had been prepared for our anniversary with a lovely cake, Indonesian fruits, and donuts for my son. He was also given a gift as soon as we checked in, and the handwritten welcome notes made everything feel personal. From arrival to departure, the stay felt truly luxurious.

The close was memorable: honey ginger tea came in a thin membrane that gently burst in the mouth, a clever molecular gastronomy touch. For tea, I picked a herbal infusion made with fruit-infused samba. Its striking red color made it engaging to drink, and rambutan honey took it up a notch. At La Patisserie, we tried The Liquid Gold Afternoon Tea Journey. The honey theme was thoughtfully carried through the whole concept. It began with tuna tartare in a beeswax box, which fit the sustainability idea well. Everything tasted good, though my favorites were the salmon caviar among the savory items and the honey jar for dessert. Indah gave us an informative explanation of the honey and tea. Rhezna kept the tea topped up and cleared the table, while Bella welcomed us warmly, had the table ready, explained the journey clearly, and served everything with care. It was an incredible afternoon tea, and I highly recommend it. For two people, the price felt well worth the tea and full experience.
