GiiA Maluku Hotel

The bed was super comfortable, and the room was really spacious and clean, as was the toilet. You can borrow an iron from housekeeping. The location is definitely five stars: right in front of Thamrin City, with Indomaret on the left and Restoran Padang Sederhana SA on the right. Grand Indonesia, Plaza Indo, Streetfood Kebon Kacang, and more are all within walking distance. I loved everything except the food, though I didn't include breakfast in my booking, so I can't say how that is. I'd definitely stay again if I come back to Jakarta.

The thing I liked and respected most was the service. Everyone was kind, humble, polite, and genuinely helpful throughout our stay. The hospitality felt top tier, warm, and welcoming, worlds apart from Malaysia. We could walk to Thamrin, Grand Indo, and Plaza Indo, and everything was handy. There's an ATM at the hotel entrance, Indomaret right beside it, and getting a Grab to CGK at 4am was easy too. The place is a bit worn in some spots, but they maintain it pretty well, and the lobby always smells nice, like perfume as soon as you walk in. They even had welcome drinks during check-in hours. Breakfast was pretty average and basic, though there were a few choices. There's also a water filter, kind of like Coway but not that brand, in the lobby, so we refilled our bottle before and after shopping every day. It's cheap, so I wouldn't expect a five-star hotel experience at this price. If you don't want slightly worn facilities or amenities, book Pullman or Park Hyatt. I'd read the bad comments and felt doubtful at first, but I'm glad I didn't cancel.

I stayed for four days. The location is quite strategic, near Thamrin City Mall and within walking distance of several shopping malls. It was a great stay, and the room was fairly spacious even for one person.

Such a good price and a really enjoyable stay at Giia Maluku Hotel. Grand Indonesia and Plaza Indonesia are so close, just three minutes away. I really enjoyed being here, thank you!! 🖤🖤🖤
