Grand Ametis Hotel Jakarta

The room was clean and tidy, with a comfortable soft queen bed that suited me well as a solo traveler. The bathroom was in good condition too. I stayed two nights and three days on a business trip, and the location near Central Jakarta made it easy to reach the places I needed. Everything from check-in through checkout went smoothly, and the staff were friendly, helpful, and ready to handle questions or requests. For under IDR 300,000 a night, the price included breakfast with a decent range of tasty options and a welcome drink served on the rooftop. It’s a comfortable place to unwind after a busy day. Hotel Grand Ametis Jakarta offers good value for business travelers or tourists on a limited budget who still want decent facilities. I’d consider staying again if I visit Jakarta.

The room was decent for the price, though the toilet felt a bit cramped. Breakfast had a small buffet selection, but I can’t complain at that price. Arriving in the rain with luggage was the bad part. Nobody offered to help carry it up the very steep entrance, which felt like a trip hazard. I was visibly struggling in the lobby while staff looked at their phones.

We planned to stay for five days, but left after three because the same problem happened twice. On the first day, the room was very dirty and the sheets were stained. The next day, we found a rat in the room that had eaten our food and left droppings all over the bed. They moved us to another room, but on the third day a rat had eaten our food again and left droppings on the sheets. They didn’t even cancel the booking or refund us. Never again. Avoid this hotel.

Breakfast on the rooftop was very nice, with a different meal each day, and the price was amazing for what you get. This is a nice new hotel, with everything clean and new. The rooms aren’t especially large, but they match the pictures and feel big enough without being cramped. The bed was very comfortable and the air conditioning worked well. The location is the one drawback, though you can see where it is when you book. Highly recommend it, and I’d stay again.
