Green Apple Residence by Zen Rooms

The hotel is very close to the city, though taxi drivers may not know the neighborhood well. Ask the staff to help communicate when arranging a Grab or Go-Jek. There’s no elevator, so I’d request a lower-floor room. The beds were comfortable, and the staff were attentive and pleasant. On two nights the bathrooms had no water, but the staff responded quickly and offered an alternative. For a budget hotel, it did the job.

Pretty good for the low price. It had the basics, including toothpaste, a towel, soap, water, and a TV with YouTube. The towel was a little rough, though.

The toilet seat had dried urine on it when we arrived, and the bathroom smelled awful. There were tickets left by previous guests in the room, so I doubt it had really been cleaned. The beds and cheap price earned a star each. The location was okay too, with shopping malls about 10 minutes away and a 24-hour store a five-minute walk away.

There was a strange smell throughout the place, and the bathroom was extremely dirty. The room also hadn’t been cleaned after the previous guest, and the Wi-Fi didn’t work. I can’t recommend it at all.
