Whenever my family and I head to Jakarta, this is our favourite place to stay 🥰

For an older apartment, it still has some value, and the facilities are fairly adequate, though limited and a bit cramped because there's not much land. It's in a residential part of central South Jakarta with an upper-middle-class feel. The building itself is quite old and could use some renovation, and a few of the room toilets smell bad. The entrance, front garden, and road leading to the apartment would look much nicer with professional upkeep. ~ALsh~

The green space and swimming pool are nice, and security feels strong since each unit has its own lift access card. But communication is difficult: staff in most tower lobbies don't understand English, and they can't arrange a taxi or order water for you. Management needs to improve.

The pool is dirty now, and they've put a smoking area in the middle of the main pool where children play. They also once blocked an outside cleaning service, set up their own, and forced tenants to use it. The apartment used to be beautiful, but the current management has been in place for over 3 years. They ignored the one-year-only rule and postponed the annual RUPS meeting twice, giving made-up reasons. Complaints go nowhere. They control everything and everyone in the building, so expect strange rules and no way to criticize or complain. The management treats the apartment like their kingdom, and they're aiming for a fourth year in control.
