Hotel 88 Fatmawati Jakarta by WH

Breakfast made the price feel worthwhile. There wasn't anything special about the taste, but there were lots of different dishes to choose from, like a 4-star spread, at least 3++. At first the layout reminded me of a dormitory, and the room itself seemed just so-so. I thought I could get a better one from the competitor next door for a little less, and this is the most expensive among the other 88 I've seen so far. Still, I have no complaints about the location, staff, cleanliness, or facilities.

I stayed four nights and saw no improvement. I requested a non-smoking room but was given a smoking one, and there was still a stain on the bed cover, which hadn't been changed. They also charged 15000 rupiahs when I asked to borrow a spoon and plate. I've never had that happen at another hotel. This place can't really be called a 3-star hotel.

The air conditioning worked perfectly, the bed was very comfortable, and I'd come back to sleep and stay here. The staff were very friendly, and the rooms were fairly clean and hygienic, if not perfect. The interior isn't new, but it seemed fair for the price. There are smoking rooms and different international TV channels too. Room service and laundry were quite slow, and the room service food wasn't great.

The furniture looks old, and the corridor wasn't very clean. It's also near the railway, although the train noise wasn't that loud. The hotel is well located and affordable. If you have more to spend, I'd look for another hotel.
