Hotel Kaisar

The staff were helpful, the service was great, and I really enjoyed breakfast. My first room had a key problem, so I had to return to reception and was moved from 736 to 752. I was tired and stayed just one night, so I accepted the room as it was, but I was disappointed to find no bathtub, despite what Traveloka had shown when I booked. There was no jet shower or bidet either, which matters a lot to me as I'm not a foreigner. I'll need to think carefully before coming back.

The bed was comfortable, and both the air conditioning and hot water worked well. The Wi-Fi was fast, and the staff were helpful and friendly, which made an uncomfortable night easier. Still, at the Traveloka price, I think I could find a better stay elsewhere. I was there in mid January 2023. I asked for a smoking room but was given a non-smoking one; they said smoking rooms were full, though I barely saw any guests, and it was a weekday. The whole hotel feels old, from the lobby and lift to the corridors, dining room, and rooms. The lobby was okay, with its old sofa, warm white lighting, and woody smell. The small lift was fine, but the corridor was dirty and creepy. They should replace the carpets. My room was clean, though the TV, sofa, and bed were old. The bathroom had no toilet shower or bidet spray, just toilet paper. I tried using the shower instead, but its damaged head sprayed water everywhere. The towel smelled bad, so I bought my own at a nearby convenience store. The bath soap smelled odd too, and I wasn't sure it was safe to use. I didn't try breakfast because I was in a hurry. The experience was okay, but I wouldn't return unless they improve things. Thank you, Hotel Kaisar, for the experience. With improvements, it could become a more comfortable hotel.

I attended a seminar here. The conference hall needed cleaning, with cigarette butts visible in a few spots. The food was fairly good, though it could be improved, and the tiny basement made parking difficult. The staff, though, were friendly and ready to help.

The staff were very friendly, and the room was cold and dark. Maybe the lighting could be changed to white. After the pandemic, the room and facilities seem to need a bit of cleaning. The bathtub was a little dirty, especially the door. Hot water wasn't very hot, but it was okay. A 100k rupiah deposit is required at check-in.
