This is basically a simple room with someone downstairs playing receptionist, not really a hotel. The room and toilet are small, which is understandable for the price, but cleanliness could be better, the mattress is very hard, and the reception wasn't welcoming. Spend a little more elsewhere and you could find a better room. Future guests, keep your expectations low.
I stayed three nights in this cheap, very clean place. It's more like a flat, tucked into an alley, and the room is small. They replaced the sheets and towels and left mineral water every day. There's also a kitchen and drinking water you can have freely. Good value for a budget stay.
The bed was comfortable, and the location is handy for Tanah Abang Market. The room is tiny, really suited to one person, and there's no sink or table in it. The hot water didn't work reliably, and the towels smelled.
The room is compact, and the place feels like a guest house where you look after yourself, rather than somewhere with much service. It's down a fairly narrow alley.
The room was clean and the AC worked very well. Grand Indonesia, Tamrin City, pasar Tanah Abang and Sarina are all within walking distance. A great homestay.
