Lamandau House

The garden café and terrace had a lovely atmosphere, though breakfast itself was pretty standard with limited options. It's a calm, leafy spot to get away from the busy pace of South Jakarta, tucked into a residential part of the city. The building started out as a house, and it still feels cozy. Ayodhya Park is right across the street, with restaurants and street food within walking distance. I liked the interior furnishings and the Sensatia Botanical toiletries. One thing that needs more attention is cleaning around the shower.

I've stayed here several times, and it keeps feeling like my Jakarta home away from home. The neighborhood seems safe, and there's a nice café right next door. Some rooms face the park, where it can get a little lively, so light sleepers may want to keep that in mind. The staff are happy to help find a room that works for you.

Thanks for all the service, Mba emma. We're looking forward to coming back to Lamandau House. Greetings to everyone. See you soon, Mr&Mrs Kainama

The room was comfortable and looked nice, and when I arrived all the lights were on and the AC was ready. It was a small thing, but it made the room feel like home. The staff were helpful, too. There's no travel iron provided, so bring your own or get your clothes ironed during an earlier hotel stay. I also recommend packing mosquito repellent if you tend to get bitten. I came on a solo birthday trip and found the place peaceful, even with a market outside. It's convenient for the Blok M area and felt safe for a solo traveler. I didn't get any eerie or bad vibes. On weekends, though, sounds from neighboring rooms or outside can be noisy.
