I was meant to stay one night in two rooms, but cancelled as soon as I saw the hotel's condition. There's no elevator, just stairs, and I had a 30-inch suitcase to carry up. The room was worse, with a musty smell as soon as I opened the door. The hotel is very poorly maintained compared with the pictures on gmaps. At 300k IDR per room, 600k IDR for two, I could easily get a 3-star hotel near Thamrin street. Don't waste your time or money here.

It's an old hotel, but still somewhat comfortable. If you need an affordable room in Central Jakarta, it could be a decent option. There are plenty of food stalls around it.

Being near Senayan makes it fairly easy to reach places around Central Jakarta. The rooms open onto the outdoors, which gives them a home-like feel. Rates are good for longer stays, especially if you're traveling on a low budget. Room service and Wi-Fi were good, though breakfast isn't included. Parking is tight, with space for only a few cars, but you can leave yours along the roadside. There's an Indomart nearby, though it closes at 10 pm. The stay itself was good and I'd recommend it, but set aside extra money for transport while exploring, or use an online driver, which is available anytime.

We waited outside for two hours and nobody opened the gate. The place was padlocked, and calling and knocking got no response. There's no receptionist available around the clock. Calling it a boarding house or homestay seems more accurate than calling it a hotel. A very bad experience.
