LeGreen Suite Sudirman

I booked six nights at full price on a non-refundable rate, but left after the first one. My ground-floor room was small and dirty, right beside large external AC units that ran constantly. The thin front doors meant I could hear everyone in the building. The reason I left was rats in the ceiling at night. At first I thought it might be someone's little dog, but then I saw the light bulb move as if a rat was trying to claw its way into my room. I was shocked and disgusted, and couldn't sleep at all. That's not an exaggeration. I reported the rats, and they offered me another room on the first floor, but I didn't think that would fix anything. I booked another hotel right away. I'd rather lose the money than stay another minute knowing there were rats, surely not just in my room. I asked for all or part of the payment back, and they said no. Fair enough, but if rodents in the rooms are a problem for you, this may not be the place.

I was happy with my choice. It's inexpensive accommodation with hotel standards: the room had water, and there was refill water on every floor. The lift, hot shower and Wi-Fi all worked well. It was quiet, the staff were okay, and the room was cleaned daily. The bed, blanket, sheets and pillowcase were tidy and very clean. There was a TV but no mini fridge. The location is convenient, with plenty of nearby food options.

Small, stinky and disgusting. The receptionist didn't seem to care. The towels were nowhere near white, and the sheets had so many black marks they looked like they'd been used at an industrial site.

This hotel is part of LeGreen Group, in the middle of Jakarta's Central Business District. Food and transport are easy to find nearby, and they allow long stays too.
