We ended up booking here after the places near Madya Stadium were full for our Jakarta trip to see Avenged Sevenfold. Getting around on foot was handy, with convenience stores nearby and plenty of “warong” where you can eat in or get takeaway. To me, “warong” is the O.G. of authentic Indonesian food, and the prices were reasonable. The staff welcomed us warmly and helped us through everything. Our room had a window, a double bed, and a clean toilet, and there was enough space. We both slept comfortably. There’s a cafe in the hotel as well, though we ate breakfast outside, so I can’t say how it is. We loved our stay and would come back to Jakarta someday.

Hotel owner, please look after the hotel with proper maintenance, and take care of your staff.

Getting around was a problem for me because the location is poor and Jakarta's public transport isn't sufficient. I had to call a taxi or biker all the time. The hotel also seemed set up for local guests, with no staff who spoke English or other languages. There was no hot water, tea, or coffee in the rooms, and breakfast was very basic, not continental as Agoda described. The basin and shower drains weren't flowing well, there were some insects around, and the small fridge kept making noise.

The location is very strategic, near the city and right in front of a wide road. Parking is spacious, including a lot in front of the hotel, and the security man kindly helped us find a spot. We also got a Coca Cola welcome drink. But the room was pretty dirty. There was hair in the toilet sink and dust all over the window, so even though I asked for a city view, I couldn't see anything through it haha. The view was also blocked by the hotel rooftop, which was covered in laundry. The soap dispenser didn't work, there was no tissue in the room, and despite the WiFi claim, there was no WiFi during my visit. Staff weren't friendly either. It was my first time going up to a hotel rooftop and being kicked out, as staff said it was only for them. The pool isn't kid friendly.
