I've called this place home for nearly 10 years, and I still can't think of a better spot. It's a lovely, quaint apartment complex right in central Jakarta, above Thamrin City mall. I can easily pick up affordable, tasty food and everyday necessities, and public transport nearby is accessible from different directions.
It's a convenient place to stay, with two large malls within walking distance and a money changer nearby. There's a big swimming pool, and the building has restaurants of all kinds, plus a supermarket and clothing shops. Very good apartment, with all the facilities available.
The condo administration is awful. There are only three elevators, and it feels like at least one is always being maintained. Still, the location is convenient, and for the rental prices it's a good deal.
I wouldn't recommend it. The location is poor, by a dead mall, and the service isn't good. Getting to the lobby is difficult. At this price, it ought to be the cheapest in town.
Right in the heart of Jakarta, with affordable prices. Grand Indonesia mall is about 5-10 minutes away.
