Breakfast tasted good, and the hotel's location is very convenient. The room itself had working AC, though it took 45 minutes to cool from 23°C to 18°C. Noise carries through the fairly thin wall between the room and corridor, so you can hear what people are doing or saying outside.
10/10
The security guard's service was great. Check-in and checkout were both incredibly fast, and I had no issues during my stay. The receptionist was nice, though I wish she'd greeted me with a brighter smile. It wasn't a big problem.
6/10
The room has a glass flask, and there's a water point by the lift, part of the hotel's effort to use less plastic. In the shower, they provide a three-in-one liquid for shampoo, conditioner, and body wash, but there's no hand soap. The location is very convenient, as other reviews mention, and the place is fine for a short stay. Sound insulation is weak, though. You may hear noise from upstairs or traffic outside.
6/10
The price works for a short stay, and the hotel is in central South Jakarta with easy access to a shopping center. My room looked old, the lighting wasn't good, and the trash bin hadn't been cleaned properly. I also saw a room service staff member smoking inside the hotel.
10/10
Parking may be tight if you're coming by car, though motorcycles usually fit in the small area by the road curb. This is an old building renovated into a chic hotel, managed by Aston. There are only a few rooms, but the interiors are excellent for the budget price. The sheets were clean, the pillows soft and comfortable, the fixtures new, and the AC worked well. Good value.
