Paragon Gallery Hotel

I hate posting bad reviews, but this was a horrible stay. I chose the place after seeing its photos and some good reviews online. Over two nights I tried three different rooms, and every one had an issue, from a leaking AC to strong cigarette or mold smells. The sheets smelled bad too. It was unbearable. Location was the one good thing. I don't recommend it at all.

This old hotel looks like it's from the 80s. The air conditioning was strong, and there was a fridge in the room. Wi-Fi didn't work, so I had to use my own data. The fridge was broken at first, but they replaced it with a good one. The toilet flush was broken, and water leaked from the toilet ceiling.

We booked two nights but left after just one because the conditions were so bad. Then reception called early in the morning telling us to check out, even though we still had a night on our reservation. Our key card also stopped working while we were out, so we couldn't get back into the room. We strongly suspect it had been deactivated. The first room was filthy: muddy footprints, crumbs and rubbish on the tables, a dirty toilet, stained bedding, and no fresh toilet paper or soap. We asked for another room straight away. It was a little cleaner, but still felt unhygienic and unpleasant. Completely unprofessional. Stay elsewhere.

We arrived at night and the room was far worse than the photos suggested. There was mud and dust on the floor, stains on the pillow, duvet and sheet, crumbs and marks on the table, and an uncleaned toilet. It smelled of smoke, and the internet and air conditioning barely worked, if they worked at all. We ended up sleeping in our own sleeping bags. We asked for another room that night, but it had its own problems: the door didn't work properly, the toilet pipes leaked and left the floor wet, and there was a sewage smell. The table was dirty again and the bedding stained. We found another hotel the next day. The place was disgusting.
