Parking assistance and check-in were smooth, and the service was great. The room, though, was a real disappointment. I booked a presidential suite and was given room 215, whose window faced a wall, with kitchen exhaust below. The fresh paint smell was very strong, and they tried to cover it with camphor. I'm hypersensitive to VOCs and the strong aromatic hydrocarbons in the paint and camphor, so I felt sick and dizzy after just five minutes. I appreciated the housekeeper on duty, who alerted the front desk and tried to help find another room. They moved me to 315, directly above the first room. It was better, with no paint or camphor smell, but the onion smell from the kitchen below filled the room. They also hadn't checked the water jug. As much as I wanted to leave a good review, I can't. Posto Dormire Sudirman is easy to reach from public transport, which makes it a practical base for a short city break, whether you're from Jakarta or visiting from elsewhere. The rooftop is the highlight for me. Head up in the early evening on a clear day and you get a striking view of Jakarta's skyline as the buildings light up. It's a lovely spot to sit quietly, eat casually, or take photos. There's also a jacuzzi and sauna up there, both set up to make the most of the view, and the temperature felt soothing. You'll need to book those facilities ahead to make sure they're available. Altogether, it was a comfortable, memorable stay with convenient access and a rooftop that's especially lovely as night falls.

The staff made the experience special, everyone was incredibly friendly and the service was top-notch. The food was absolutely delicious, too. If you like taking photos, the decor is full of corners that are great for Instagram. A 10/10 experience ❤️

We felt at home thanks to the friendly staff and quick service. The hotel restaurant's food was delicious and beautifully presented, and it was great value for money. We'll definitely come back!

The room was comfortable and clean, and the staff were helpful and friendly. Breakfast was only average, with limited choices, so it could use some improvement. Still, it's a decent place to stay.
