Ravarine Suite Apartment

Our 21st-floor unit was clean and fully equipped for preparing meals. There was a microwave, portable stove, crockeries, plates, cups, forks, spoons, a knife, and a fridge. Snacks and drinks were refilled daily, and the water dispenser came with a couple of big bottles, more than enough for our 6 nights and 7days. Free Wi-Fi was provided, and the kids were entertained by the TV channels. There was no washing machine, but plenty of laundry services nearby. The bedrooms were clean, with enough pillows and blankets. We also had a hair dryer, iron, ironing pad, safe deposit box, and an extra mattress for another person. The bathroom was clean, towels were replaced daily, 2 large and 2 small, and there was a welcoming set of toothbrushes plus enough soap and shampoo for our stay. Service was great and responsive. The unit was cleaned daily, issues were sorted out quickly, and the instructions for using the equipment were clear and easy to follow. One of the owners came by personally at the end of our stay, gave us a small souvenir, and asked for feedback. Excellent hospitality and very good value for money. The location is perfect. There are mini markets, laundry services, and eateries all around. A shopping centre with a major supermarket is less than 5 minutes’ walk from the apartment, with shops, cafes, food stalls, money changers, and even an XL SIM card seller in the basement. You can get there through the basement car park, which is handy in the rain. Another shopping centre is about 10 minutes away on foot. The apartment building looks a bit old and could use a refresh, though it was pretty clean for Indonesian standard. Lobby security staff were polite and helpful, and you need an access card to use the lift. Facilities are fairly standard, with a gym and tennis court, plus a mini market inside. The swimming pool is the standout, long and stretching between the towers, clean and beautifully designed, with a couple of slides for children. One slide was under maintenance while we were there. Finding our way around was the main small frustration. There aren’t enough signs, especially on the ground floor and in the basement car park, and it felt like a maze getting out and back to the unit. After a couple of days we got used to it, with a couple of hiccups that took us to the wrong tower 😅. This is an excellent short-term place to stay, and we had a very good experience. The one change we’d suggest is repainting the walls and ceiling to freshen up the unit. We highly recommend it and will definitely come back.
