RedDoorz near Central Park Mall

We left without staying the night. The room seemed clean, but the bathroom smelled like cockroaches, the bed had a boy's-room smell, and it was so uncomfortable I expected it to cause backache. There’s no car parking, which wasn’t mentioned in the listing. We were also asked to pay an extra IDR 30k, presented as an add-on, without being told beforehand. Then the receptionist wanted both a 100k deposit and my ID card. I felt they should have asked for one or the other. Later, one receptionist rudely accused us of smoking in the bathroom, saying there was a cigarette butt there. Another checked and couldn’t find one. They backed down after noticing there was no smell of smoke in the room. We’d booked because we wanted to avoid driving home from Central Park mall. The whole experience was bad enough that we chose to brave the New Year’s Eve traffic at Central Park instead.
