RedDoorz near Soekarno Hatta Airport

We paid only 200,000 Rp for one night on site, and the place was clean. It’s near the airport, restaurants and Alfamart. But the room looked nothing like the photos and was so tiny that fitting our two backpacks was difficult. It was also loud, which made it hard to sleep.

It’s a nice, quiet residential area, not too far from the airport, and the hotel was otherwise fine. In the morning, I went to check out and head back to the airport, but reception was empty for around 30 minutes. I think the staff member had overslept. Apart from that, I’d fully recommend it as a cheap place to sleep between flights.

At a reasonable price, the room was small but clean, and the place was decent to stay in. My one bad experience may have been my own mistake. I asked the receptionist about a taxi to the airport and was told it would be Rp 50,000, quite a bit less than the Rp 70,000 I’d paid for a Grab ride to the hotel. The next morning, the receptionist said the taxi was there and I’d need to negotiate with the driver. Since the driver had already arrived and didn’t seem very pleasant, I wanted to avoid a confrontation and ended up paying Rp 100,000. I’m mentioning it so others can watch out for what felt like a scam.
