The thin walls were the main drawback. I could clearly hear people talking in the next room. Still, it was clean, the TV signal was good, and the room had a table, cupboards, and a washbasin with a mirror outside the bathroom. Hot water worked, and the noisy AC cooled the room. The front door was stiff, but that didn't bother me much. Handy for nearby food spots, a minimarket, and Pasar Baru if you don't mind a short walk. Fine for a night or two.

Nasi Bebek Bu Chotijeh near Gereja Ayam was tasty and cheap, just a five-minute walk away. A plate was 16k. I'd be careful at Opor Ayam Bu Chandra on Pasar Baru Atom, though, since she charged a ridiculously high price. Look for a warung with a queue. As for the stay, it's pleasant and affordable, with a clean bed, wardrobe, and fridge for snacks and drinks from the Indomaret or Alfamart about 10m away. There's a BCA ATM too, so getting extra cash is easy. I found it a better option than searching for a budget hotel on other apps.

The room and building looked clean, but finding a small cockroach made me wonder how well the room had actually been cleaned. There was no tissue or trash can, and very few electrical outlets. The other facilities were about what I'd expect from a RedDoorz, but for a "plus" this was disappointing.

Feels like a nice, homey place if you're fine with the kos kos an or single pads Indonesians use. The guest room is separate, and bigger and more comfortable than the locals' rooms.

Really disappointing service. Neither my mobile data nor the awful wifi was usable, so I had to cancel an online meeting while I was there.
