The WiFi was really weak in the room, and there was no intercom, so I had to walk down two floors whenever I needed to speak with reception. A small fridge would also be useful for keeping food or drinks during a longer stay. Still, the staff were helpful, the location was good for food and the Transjakarta halt, and the interior felt like a very fancy kost. I’d come back. I’d rate it 4.5/5.

The location is strategic and the price is hard to beat, though there are better options nearby. I’d only recommend it for one night, not a longer stay. There was no hot water, no towel, and the room wasn’t clean enough.

There were lots of ants, a slight smell, and the place felt a bit gloomy. They gave us one blanket for a queen bed, then charged us when we asked for another. The cheap price is the only reason I gave it two stars.

I forgot to hand in the key at checkout, so I couldn’t get my deposit back then. I called the RedDoorz CS to check whether I could return it later, and came back the next day with the key. The receptionist said the deposit had already been billed and couldn’t be refunded. I had to call RedDoorz CS again, and only got the deposit back after they spoke directly with the receptionist. The whole process was inconvenient and left me disappointed.
