Residence 38-39

The rooftop veranda has a shared kitchen and a view. My room was clean and compact, with everything I needed, and the latex mattress was comfortable. I liked it.

The location was the only reason I stayed, since it wasn't far from the airport and I had an early flight. Otherwise, I would've booked somewhere else right away. The bathroom was dirty and there was no toilet paper, even after we asked. We couldn't handle the room, so we requested a change and got a smaller one. That one didn't have bedbugs, but still wasn't especially clean. There were insects everywhere in the first room, even on the mattress, which makes me strongly suspect bedbugs. The photos also seemed fake or from when the hotel was renovated, because the walls were dirty and everything looked old. It was the worst experience we've had here.

For what I paid, I can't complain too much. The reception staff were courteous, it's good value, and the room's modern interior was bright and clean. The place is reasonably clean overall, the AC worked well, and it's near a major road, a shopping mall, convenience stores, and food stalls. The linens could be cleaner, there was cigarette smoke smell in the room, and the soundproofing needs work.

I took photos of the place, including its pool with fish and a turtle. It was so beautiful, I loved it. It's a good, low-cost place for an overnight stay, and the bedroom was nice with cold air conditioning.
