Sare Hotel

There's a lovely little roof terrace with a nice view of the city, and breakfast can be ordered online and eaten in the lobby or out there. There isn't breakfast on site. The neighborhood is good, next to Blok M, and the room was clean with friendly employees. The bed was huge, with a good mattress and clean sheets. We highly recommend this place!

I enjoyed my stay overall. The building is kind of old, so I expected some street noise from the crowded road. I booked a Duplex Executive room on the 4th Floor, and there was an elevator. The AC cooled the room quickly, the TV was wide and clear, the hot water flow was good, and the bedsheet was clean enough. Some spots, like the tables, hadn't been wiped after the last guest. I'd bring my own towel, since ours was dirty and smelled old, maybe from being stored under the ceiling blower. The reception is open 24 hours. It's easy to get to, near a convenience store open until 10pm and a 24hr restaurant, and within walking distance of the Blok M Bus Station and the malls in the area. There is no parking lot, so you have to park on the street.

I've used the meeting room twice. The snacks were good, but the room wasn't maintained very well, and the carpet was dirty and stained.

There were cigarette butts in the room even though I hadn't smoked there. The flotsam smelled of cigarettes all night too, which made me uncomfortable.
