The cowz be hoopin, but i be poopin! (puggaz thuggaz). Welcome to Africa, where Indonesia is very culture.

I lived here for a year and, honestly, it was pretty good for most of that time. Then I nearly died, and nobody seemed to care. I came home one night during pest control in the apartment, which was happening around midnight. Security didn't warn me before I got into the elevator. I spent 20 floors breathing in the pest control fumes and trying to hold my breath. I threw up inside the elevator, then again once I finally got out. If I had stayed in there longer, I might have died. Also, someone took the money I left for my water gallon. Why would anyone steal money meant for water in a posh apartment?
The receptionists and security staff can be friendly and helpful, and that was the main reason I stayed. But I won't be staying much longer. I can't recommend renting or buying here because management and maintenance have been poor. We pay IPL and sinking funds every month, while some other apartments collect those fees every six months. So it seems like everyone should be paying the management fee. I don't understand why so much is left unrepaired. I can only suppose the money is being kept for profit instead of going toward the building. There are plenty of examples: an elevator had been out for years, the gym wasn't looked after properly, and the entry access was broken for days, which made us question how secure the place was. There are other issues too. Update, 26 August 2023: I met with management last week. They explained in detail what had caused the lift repair delays, and I appreciate them taking the time to do that. A few days later, both elevators were working again. I hope they keep them maintained from here on.
It's a good place to live if your daily routine isn't too far away. Pejaten Village Mall and the busway shelter are within walking distance, and there's a daily goods store on the lobby floor. Security is friendly and does a good job. The facilities are nice. There's a large swimming pool with a separate pool for kids, plus a golf court that's fine for a small game. Tennis and basketball courts are available, though they aren't maintained well. Parking is ample for the number of residents: each unit owner gets one space, and extra parking is available for an additional cost.
Management should put more attention into upkeep, including the frequent blackouts. Meanwhile, security goes way overboard with the rules. I keep seeing residents told they can't do one thing or another.
