The engineering team is very limited, so they’re slow to respond when there’s an issue. If owners pay the IPL late, you can be left waiting hours for the water and other services to be turned back on. Think twice before buying or renting here. Management should put more staff in place to make things better for tenants.
I’ve been here five years, and it’s fairly clean. What matters most to me is that pets are allowed. Pet owners still need to keep things clean, though, so the shared environment stays comfortable for everyone.
It’s a pleasant place in some ways, but nearby shopping is limited to an Indomaret, and a co-working space for remote work would be a welcome addition. I rented here for a month, and the elevator really did break down often. There were small cockroaches around the trash area. I’m not sure if that’s considered normal here, but I suspect the sanitary fixtures lack water traps, letting cockroaches enter apartments through the sewage pipes. They do get in. For a building advertised as exclusive, spending a few thousand rupiah on proper traps seems reasonable. In Europe, nobody would connect apartment sewage without one, and there are no cockroaches there. With hundreds of apartments connected this way, it’s obvious they can crawl through the whole building. Seeing them when you enter the bathroom is disgusting. I saw large cockroaches in the basement around the sewage system, which seems to be their breeding ground. In the apartments and near the trash, they’re only small.
I paid the highest price for a room in this building, and the experience has been worse than I expected. I’m disappointed and tired of asking for help. There are many defects; most have been dealt with, but my bathroom renovation is still unfinished, and the door handle latch broke after two months of staying here, as shown in the photo. The workers and staff are good at their jobs, but management is unresponsive and slow. They make promises and excuses about being busy, with little follow-through. Complaints have to be repeated, and messages get nowhere. Even after asking them to meet, there was no initiative to respond. I had to go to reception myself for an update on the renovation, and there’s still no response to my chat about it. Staff don’t seem to have been taught proper hospitality. I had to explain to them how to greet tenants. I’ve tried to treat them with respect, but the management’s hospitality is poor. Whenever I have an issue, they’re unavailable, seem confused, and offer excuses. I don’t care if they hate me for saying this. If someone from the building reads it, I hope they’ll respond, follow through instead of just talking, and be reliable and responsible.
So far, living here has been good. I bought an apartment, and I think the services need improvement. More facilities would help, like a grocery store, minimart, or coffee stall. They’re planning to build a Mall, so hopefully that happens soon.
