Stylish and Posh Studio Pasar Baru Mansion Apartment

I spent a month at Pasar Baru mansion and liked the stay. It’s near a market where you can get delicious Indonesian food.

The apartment is affordable for Jakarta Pusat, and the engineer and security staff are very friendly. There’s an Indomaret on the ground floor, plus another nearby, and a local traditional market close by. You get free pool access, though the gym is inside Yuan Garden (the Hotel) and apartment tenants have to subscribe to use it. The lift is quite slow. Service and maintenance fees also feel a bit costly for what’s provided.

There are still very few residents, and some areas, including the lobby, are under construction. The new apartment connects to Grand Orange hotel. There’s no door to the balcony, just a small window, which is too bad. There’s no cable TV, and even local channels aren’t accessible.

The place looks modern and posh in the Pasar Baru area, and the location is strategic. Improvements are still underway, and businesses haven’t opened yet. It could use more finesse to attract tenants and visitors.
