Sunbreeze Hotel Senayan

Breakfast arriving at 7am was one small plus. It came to the room with a full main course, desserts, and juice. But the high price didn’t match the poor service, and the hotel was the dirtiest I’ve ever experienced. I chose it for a three-day concert because it’s near GBK Senayan, but it let me down almost everywhere. Security wouldn’t help with our luggage, and the rooms on my floor were covered in dust and spiderwebs. There were no toiletries either.

Two or three well-known mini markets nearby were handy for buying toiletries, snacks, and drinks, since the hotel is in a business complex. But the rooms I stayed in weren’t properly cleaned or maintained, and the place didn’t feel guest-focused. I was there for two nights, but had to change rooms after the first because the toilet wouldn’t flush. That was the biggest letdown. Breakfast wasn’t included, so I can’t comment on the food. For this kind of hotel, it’s quite pricey. Honestly, I wouldn’t recommend it.

The rooftop cafetaria has the best view, looking out over the Sudirman buildings. The restaurant food was okay, though not great, and the staff were friendly. The hotel was clean and cozy. It’s tucked into the corner of a junction and a little hard to spot, right beside the main road and flyover, so it gets noisy at night and can disturb your sleep.

It’s in a business complex, and having a couple of familiar mini markets nearby was handy for snacks, drinks, and toiletries. Still, the hotel didn’t feel very guest-focused in how it was managed.
