Tamarin Hotel Jakarta manage by Vib Hospitality Management

The breakfast could be better, especially with more variety and higher quality choices. The hotel is older and doesn’t have a modern look, but it’s clean and everything seemed well maintained and in good condition. What really made the stay pleasant was the staff: they were friendly, professional, and ready to help. A solid place to stay if you want good service and a clean hotel, though there’s room to improve the morning meal.

The location and service were great, and the front desk staff stayed friendly even though they seemed fully booked. Rooms are fine, with an older style, but the location makes up for that. I did find cockroaches, unfortunately. Given the price, I guess I can’t complain. The buffet breakfast is very local, which might not suit everyone. I don’t eat much, so it was okay for me.

An affordable hotel in central Jakarta, very close to sarinah and not too far from Grand Indonesia and Plaza Indonesia. The staff are polite and the service is the best. There was a good variety at breakfast, but during our five-night stay, waffles weren’t available even by checkout.

A big hotel that’s good value, with nice amenities including a pool, a small gym, and buffet breakfast, all included. Jalan Sabang is nearby for Sate food.
