The Kartini 8 Residence Mangga Besar

I had no complaints about the room, and all the facilities worked well. For the price I paid, it was beyond what I expected. The room had a flat television, private bathroom, wardrobe, desk, air conditioning, and free mineral water. Finding the place was a bit tricky because the map pin was wrong, though OYO sent me to the right address. Hopefully the map issue gets fixed soon. Check-in took a little longer while the receptionist confirmed my booking with a supervisor, but it was sorted once he got confirmation. I forgot to take pictures, but I think you’ll be happy spending a night here. Note: The photos are from 04 May 2019, my second stay. The facilities were the same as during my first visit, except the Wi-Fi was really poor.

For a budget hotel, this was the best I’ve experienced. My first room wasn’t good, but when I asked to switch the next night, the clerk helped happily. Later that afternoon the internet suddenly had a problem. Staff responded quickly, took action on our complaint, and checked several times to see if it was fixed. They also kindly said to ask if we needed any more help. Recommended, 5/5.

The rooms are fine for the low prices. A kind, lovely lady who wears spectacles gave us great hospitality and even guided us to the places we wanted to visit. I like staying here because there’s amazing, delicious street food nearby.

The price was affordable, and the room and bathroom were really clean. The Wi-Fi was fast enough for Netflix and other things. The female staff member was friendly. I’d recommend it to you guys.
