The room was very clean and roomy enough for the price, and it was easy to find places to eat.

I left early because every room I saw was so unclean and uncomfortable, and management still refused a partial refund. All three rooms had mold in the shower and grime throughout the bathroom, hair on the floor, stained-looking sheets, a bad smell, and surfaces and furniture that clearly hadn't been wiped. There were crumbs and other debris on tables and dirt on chairs. In the second room, ants appeared after a few days, on the desk and even the bed. After wiping things down myself, I'm sure I left each room cleaner than I found it. I don't mind budget hotels, but I've stayed in plenty at the same price or less that were clean and well maintained. The attached cafe showed the same lack of cleanliness. Its 24/7 availability is convenient, but from the checkout counter you can see the filthy oven used to warm snacks and the nasty surfaces. When I checked into the first room, I couldn't believe that half the shower wall was covered in black mold. This place is disgusting, with cleanliness below average. Unclean, uncomfortable, unsatisfactory. Shame on them.

I finally made it back to Jakarta after a long time, and this stay was for a family matter that took me to the hospital across the street. It's especially handy if you need to be near the hospital or funeral home, just a quick walk away. The Central Jakarta location is great, with lots of food options, especially for online orders. There's a Yoshinoya in the lobby, plus a minimarket, laundry, and coffee shop nearby. I really liked the clean, well-maintained room, and it was super comfortable even without a window. The bathroom was huge. The one downside was breakfast: it came in a box, and they didn't ask when we wanted it delivered. They knocked pretty loudly at 7 AM, which was a bit annoying. Other than that, everything was great!

The location was a real plus, just a few minutes on foot from the train station and a major hospital. Inside, the contemporary look blends with traditional Japanese touches, and all the little decor details make it feel peaceful and distinctive. Mr. Toni greeted us after check-in and walked us to our room with a warm smile, making sure we had what we needed. The stay beat my expectations, and between the setting, service, and convenient spot, I’d happily come back when I’m in the area.
