Two Bedroom Apartment, Fraser Place Setiabudi Jakarta

The room felt like home, with a kitchen set, laundry set, fast WiFi, clean bathroom, and a cozy home theater area. The location made everything easy, right in the heart of the city and close to TransJakarta bus stops, LRT, and MRT stations. It’s comfortable for both work trips and family staycations, and very kids-friendly. My business schedule was so packed during my first two nights that I barely got to enjoy the hotel until the morning after the event. Since I had an extra day off, I extended the stay and brought my family, trying a different room type. We loved the food too. The black pepper beef was chef’s kiss, and the croissants were among the best I’ve had at a Jakarta hotel breakfast. Thanks to all the staff for their kindness and warm hospitality. We’ll definitely be back for another staycation soon.

Fraser Place has been a familiar, comforting choice for our staycations since the pandemic. I chose it again for my wedding stay, even though it wasn’t the closest hotel to the venue. With so much on an important day that you can’t control, I wanted somewhere calm and grounding, and Fraser Place gave me that. My husband and I even extended our stay for almost a week afterward, which probably says it all. My mother and I booked the hotel for family and close friends, reserving several Premier rooms in different sizes, from one-bedroom to two-bedroom and three-bedroom units, with different arrival and departure dates. It was a complicated arrangement, but the team handled it smoothly and carefully. A week ahead, we came in to arrange the deposit and requested room numbers in advance, ideally on the same floor, to make coordination easier. Ms. Jeannette at the front desk was kind and transparent. She explained that the three-bedroom unit was on the 21st floor and couldn’t be on the same floor as the others, then arranged as many of the remaining rooms together as possible. We appreciated her clear communication and effort. The Premier rooms were spacious and well equipped, with plates, cookware, and kitchen utensils. The two-bedroom and three-bedroom units also had a washing machine and dishwasher, and the three-bedroom one had a wine chiller. There was room for family gatherings, and even with three of my mother’s family members sharing a room, it felt comfortable and homey, never cramped. The hot and cold soaking pools, sauna, and spacious swimming pool helped us relax during a busy, emotional week. A heartfelt thank you to Ms. Jeannette, who patiently helped us from the start through checkout. She stayed calm, attentive, and incredibly efficient. Highly recommended for families, long stays, and meaningful life moments.

Fanny at the Reservation was so friendly and helpful, and made things easy from check-in through all my requests. I really appreciated her hospitality. The spacious, clean apartment was super comfortable, and the location was convenient. The whole place had a calm, well-maintained feel.

The room itself was spacious and modern, and the facilities and location were quite good. But that doesn’t make up for the service I experienced, which was very disappointing and among the worst I’ve encountered. At arrival, I was told there were no rooms available, even though my booking clearly listed a non-smoking king bed and queen bed. The front office staff said those were only a “preference” and depended on availability. I found that completely unacceptable since I had selected them in the reservation. No one apologized, and after I raised the concern several times, the response stayed dismissive, with no real attempt to find a solution. I asked for the manager and was told to return at 2 PM. I waited 20 minutes, but the manager never appeared. I was told they were “on call.” The poor coordination and lack of accountability were frustrating. Is this really how paying customers are treated? Management needs to improve staff training and customer handling.
