Urbanview Hotel Kota Tua Jakarta

The bed was really comfortable and clean, and the shower had nice hot water. The room was okay, though very small if you get a standard one. It wasn't the cleanest, but it wasn't the dirtiest either. There wasn't a proper window facing outside, but there was air conditioning. The staff were very friendly, though their English wasn't very good.

The location's good, just a short walk from the old town square. The room was clean and cozy, and the shower was a little strange. Staff were extremely helpful and welcoming.

The restaurant was delicious, with the best noodles I ate in Indonesia. The staff were very helpful, the rooms were clean, non-smoking, and had hot showers. I was relieved to find that, since most nearby hotels only had smoking rooms. It's very good value too, just 2 blocks from the old square.

The location is very convenient for visiting the old part of Jakarta (Kota Tua) and its Dutch architecture. It's just 2 min from the river, with its cute walking streets, and from the main square with a governor's house.
