The staff were friendly and helpful, so I think the hotel could avoid so many bad reviews if the owner invested in renovations. But if it stays like this, I'm definitely not coming back. I don't think this is the worst hotel ever. People say it's spooky, and it is, but that kind of thing doesn't bother me much. The room and bed were okay. What really matters to me is bathroom hygiene, and this one was terrible. The toilet was acceptable, though not properly shiny-clean, and there was no jet washer. I'm Indonesian, and we need water for washing after using the toilet. The shower also seemed old and broken, with uneven water flow that made showering uncomfortable, and there was no hot water. The bathroom needs renovating. I know it's an old building, but that's no excuse. Other parts, like the stairs, need work too.

For a business trip, the location is great and the price is very affordable. It's not much of a staycation spot, though. The building is old, the room has no telephone, and you can hear everything since it's not soundproof. The sheets, blanket, and towels all seemed old too. There is hot water. It's cheap, so keep your expectations modest, but the price is reasonable when you consider the whole picture.

The price is really cheap, but the room was very dirty. Garbage was scattered around, the sheet was stained, the carpet had cigarette burns, and the AC leaked. There was no hot water, and on my second day there wasn't any water at all. Happy holiday.

The room was really big, and the interior looked pretty good, as did the view. I actually like the spooky vibe, so that isn't a downside for me. But the hotel's cleanliness and the broken water heater brought my rating down to three. It badly needs renovation. I guess all that comes with the cheap price. I imagine this hotel was marvelous in its day.

It's spacious and cheap, and those two things are enough for three stars from me. The place feels like a haunted house because everything inside is so old. Built around the 80s, it seems none of the interior has been renewed. It really needs a complete renovation, especially inside.
